Introducing the "Lady and Lord" of Erosia
The Erosia Land Sanctuary staff currently consists of Sarah Heartsong and
Karl Feret. They are trained and experienced priest/esses with complementary backgrounds and skills. Read on to find out more.
Lady Sarah Heartsong
Sarah is an ordained, nature-centered priestess who has served her communities in New Mexico and the Pacific NW spiritually both as a professional and volunteer all her life. Raised an active Methodist Christian, Sarah pivoted in 1992 when she had an epiphany about the plurality and genderfull Nature of the Divine. Sarah embraced Nature as the center of her Path then studied intensely to gain a BA degree in Religion specialized in comparative Religions and cultures around the globe.
Especially interested in the spiritual traditions of indigenous peoples of the Earth with their Wisdom Ways, Sarah also holds a MA in Communication Studies with intercultural/interpersonal communication as her focus. She also has over 20 years of long-term care experience as both caregiver, case manager and supervisor, which provides a quantity of stories and Wisdom about spiritual trials, planning and accomplishing targeted outcomes. She Serves as Lead Spiritual Coach here on the Land and can tailor spiritual retreats, workshops and hermitages for Seekers of most any faith tradition wanting to get into better touch with the Power of Nature.
Sarah is also a talented artist. She has a strong sense of design and abilities passed down to her from both sides of her family. Most often it will be Sarah that you will talk to as she's currently working not only as an artisan and office manager for Rare Earth Designs (www.rareearthdesigns.net), Main Sanctuary Servant for the Tree of Life Interfaith Sanctuary (www.tolisanctuary.org), but is also the main priestess of Erosia. Sarah is the Lady of the Land of Erosia, a business woman, a coach, a reader, a healer, a ceremonialist and often a teacher. Sarah designs and makes primarily the altar boxes, altar icons and drums sold by Rare Earth Designs on their website, Etsy and at fairs and events.
Lord Karl Feret
Karl is originally from the Denver area, who moved to Washington state many years ago. Karl grew up working with woods, from building and repairing furniture with his father to the fabrication of custom homes. He was a stonemason and landscape designer by trade and a woodworker and metaphysical student/practitioner in everyday life. Eventually friends convinced Karl to share his skills beyond his personal circles so he started to sell his wares part time as a side hustle. He now works with the earth everyday, full time, both on physical and spiritual levels creating and designing sacred art and building our Land Sanctuary, Erosia.

Karl has more of a ceremonial, or "traditional" magic background than Sarah does. He was formally initiated into Wicca back when he lived in Denver. He continues to be drawn into esoteric western sources through rabbit holes now available all over online, learning all the time. Karl is an ordained priest and currently serves as the Speaker of the Land for the TOLIS, the naturecentric spiritual association Erosia is a part of. He acts as the "Lord" of Erosia and is in charge of designing, installing, and building the landscape into our "Pagan Playland", our Land Sanctuary, maintaining the forest, and basically being an Ent, herding the trees on our 13 acres of Erosia.
