So many exciting things are happening out here in our little neck of the woods.
We're close to having our second ever Beltane Erosia. Registration is up and people are signing up to join in the magic of this fertility festival. If you want to attend simply introduce yourself to us and tell us why you want to come. We do have a limited number of people we can accommodate out here, and we're nowhere near that number yet. iRev Sarah has now published her first book! Its about Beltane and targets the pre-teen pagan audience. It describes kids coming of age attending a weekend long Beltane festival (like ours). It provides 2 stories, one with a focus on a non-binary relationship and the other a retelling of the traditional tale of Rhiannon from the Mabinogi. It also contains a section for parents about sex/identity education and a sample ritual if you want to create your own Beltane experience. Finally, in collaboration with the WA Dept. of Natural Resources we are cleaning up our forest to help decrease the risk of fire. April 1 and 2 we have a team of volunteers/hired help aiding in forest management. It's our plan to help restore this piece of Land to a more natural wooded setting and to that end we have to do some clearing of brush and debris. Thankfully the DNR is helping us!
